Complete Guide for Class 10 & 12 Students
NIOS Admission 2026-27 for Stream 3 and 4 stream is open now. It will open current year for those learners who have already passed Secondary from recognized Board and want to take part admission in one subject or uptu 4 subjects for updating their qualification or learners who had appeared but could not clear or who were eligible but could not appear the Public Examination of Secondary level from any recognized Board and want to appear through On Demand Examination System of NIOS for Secondary Level only.
The learners has to submit his/her admission form along with the original failed Marksheet/admit card (Hall Ticket) issued by the Board for confirmation of the admission. The learners registered under stream 3 will be eligible for TOC as per guidelines and conditions given in NIOS Prospectus. In Stream 3 of NIOS Board Marksheet, provisional certificate, migration cum transfer certificate and passing certificate will be awarded of the year 2026-27 to successful learners. What is NIOS On-Demand Examination (ODE)?
The On-Demand Examination System (ODES) allows students to:

Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations

Stream 4 – For Senior Secondary Course (Class 12)
Stream 4 is for students who:
Failed in Class 12 board exams
Want to improve marks
Need urgent passing certificate for college admission or career
Stream 4 allows students to appear in On-Demand mode for selected subjects.
Documents Required for NIOS Stream 3 & 4 Admission 2026
For Class 10th Failed
- Original Failed Marksheet/ Original Admit Card, Photo Copy of Aadhar Card.
- 6 Colored Passport Size Photographs along with Name, Date.
- Guardian/Parents Address proof (Photo Copy) except Driving License.
For Class 12th Failed
- Original Failed Marksheet/ Original Admit Card, 10th Marksheet and passing Certificate(Photocopy), Photo Copy of Aadhar Card.
- 6 Colored Passport Size Photographs along with Name, Date.
- Guardian/Parents Address proof (Photo Copy) except Driving License
